When I started in AV so many years ago I used to think it was about all the electronics – the buttons, the lights, the bells and whistles.  Although I’ve learned quite a bit about some pretty amazing gear I also came to know that it’s actually about communication.  My job, at the core, is to help someone get their message across to someone else – it’s really about helping people communicate.
