AV Definitions

  • Assisted Listening
    • AAVG is a strong believer in ensuring that everyone is involved in the conversation.  With Assisted Listening Systems, you can ensure that people hear your message, presentation, or performance.  These systems are invisible and can utilize RF (radio frequency) transmission, IR (infrared) transmission, and EM (electromagnetic transmission).  Each of the transmission methods has their own benefits and drawbacks and we can help to guide you in the right direction.  No space is too large or small for Assisted Listening.
  • Conferencing Solutions
    • AAVG designs a plethora of different conferencing solutions based on emerging technologies and tried-and-true communications technologies.  We can assist you in designing a voice-only telephone conferencing system, a traditional audio/video codec-based system, or as many clients are opting, a soft-codec based system that allows you to choose your conferencing provider in the cloud and utilize USB-based audio and video devices.
  • Digital Signage
    • AAVG designs digital signage systems that can allow for you to communicate with your clients, employees, or the public.  These systems are designed with ease-of-use and high visibility in mind.  Imagine being able to welcome your guests personally in the lobby before a meeting or recognize birthdays and anniversaries in the lunchroom.
  • Distance Learning
    • AAVG has vast experience in designing distance learning systems that allow educational clients and corporations to reach remote students and employees.  These systems will typically utilize video conferencing solutions and can often involve lecture or training recording and streaming via the Internet.
  • Interactive Annotative Systems
    • AAVG can help you to become the Monday Night Football commentator with an Interactive Annotative System.  This allows you to, on-the-fly, annotate over any on-screen content to highlight items, make notes, and distribute images of your annotations.
  • Paging
    • AAVG works with many clients to create building, campus, or even worldwide overhead notification and background music systems.  We work hard to ensure that your facility has easy access to these systems and our end goal is to ensure that it doesn’t sound like you’re going through the drive thru at your favorite fast food joint.
  • Presentation
    • AAVG can work with you and your end-users to create a space to allow for meaningful collaboration, allowing for a more efficient (and profitable) business by leveraging technologies and good old-fashioned know-how.  These technologies can be as simple as voice reinforcement in a room or as complex as a stadium, performing arts venue, or a 3-room combining video conferencing suite.
  • Projection
    • AAVG has a long history of designing projection systems for venues, offices, and classrooms.  Projection Systems allow you to show your content to a large audience with a single point of reference.  Technologies vary from lamped projectors to new, laser-based projectors and AAVG can guide you to implementing the best solution for your situation.
  • Sound Masking
    • AAVG helps clients to design comprehensive sound masking systems that allow for better voice privacy and a more comfortable working environment.  Sound masking is known to assist in drowning out the other voices in the office and ensuring that eavesdropping on conversations and meetings is virtually impossible.
  • Video Wall
    • AAVG has designed video walls to allow you to get your point across in a big way.  A Video Wall is typically comprised of either traditional LED displays or direct-view LED panels arranged to allow for a much larger presence.  These can be utilized to be as simple as increasing the size of your content, all the way up to complex video overlays, tiling of images, or creative use of tiles or displays in unique patterns to provide a virtual canvas and let your imagination (or marketing department) run wild.
  • Wayfinding
    • AAVG can help you to design a digital wayfinding system that will leverage displays (sometimes with touch interactivity) in your facilities to help visitors find their way.  These systems are used commonly in large facilities, malls, and higher education buildings to ensure that your visitors can get to where they are going quickly and efficiently.
